Here are two more of our menagerie.  Our boxer mix, Luna and our beautiful longhaired cat, Gracie.  Both were rescues, Luna from the Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue group and Gracie from a home that couldn't keep her anymore.

Kermit and Bruce

This is my husband Bruce with our Eclectus parrot, Kermit.  Last night Kermit showed up with blood on his beak which threw the household into a panic.  We never did find the source of the blood and he seems to be  in fine health eating and demanding attention as always.  He must have picked off a feather that bled, but it was pretty scarey.  Having a bird in the house is very much like having a toddler, but we love him dearly.

One rainless day

We had a beautiful day in the mountains today. One day without rain and a little sunshine. Heavenly!!
